The best part to me was the climax, the confrontation between the knight and the group. Oli really showed his cleverness.
For me, the first chapter or two is always tough to get through.

I liked when Nina was reading her old diary. I am also named Nina and have been keeping diaries/journals my whole life. I even felt a pang of nostalgia when Nina mentioned her gel pen phase.
My favorite characters were of course Oli and I love the coyote sisters. They were so different and fun. They became good friends and helped each other, I appreciate the friendship themes throughout the book and how friends help each other. I really enjoyed the book and the theme about climate and protecting our earth.

Least favorite was that darn mockingbird. Ewkkk..
Most Favorite was Oli’s mother. Because of her there is a story and the adventure would’ve never happened if his mother didn’t send him one his way to learn the world and find his courage and gifts. Oli realized how strong he was when he was most vulnerable and he also realized that when he hit rock bottom- the bottom happen to be the gift.
Vulnerability is POWER

I also like “Cottonmouth Meets an Originator!” The big guy was so wise, but also loving and caring. I disliked “Cottonmouth Meet a Bounty Hunter” because the bounty hunter didn’t really contribute to the story. I though that the bounty hunter could’ve been more involved.

“Cottonmouth Meets an Originator” because I love the idea of Originators, firm, but loving gods who helped their people. .

Gel pens are very nostalgic
