I don’t know if it impacts the way we tell stories as much as it introduces us to a wider audience.

It makes things less emotional/personal because you can’t interact very well with whoever’s telling the story. It also makes it so ppl automatically assume a ton of ppl are going to watch a video of a story so they try to streamline it

Usually , I get to anxious to tell stories in person ,but online you can feel fine
Shorter attention spans, and less patience with a long-winded tale. On the plus side, it has broadened the audience and sharpened the ability to be concise and attention-getting.

On the positive side, social media allows for more more pictures and art and a global audience. On the other hand, it contributes to the instant gratification syndrome and is less personal (people are not in the physical presence of other people).
